Paul Brock (President)
Paul Brock moved to Cody in 1983 for a six-month temporary position. Falling in love with the area, he decided to stay and raise his family in Cody. His work history includes over 25 years at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West as the Facilities Director and then as GM/Owner of the Cody Firearms Experience for the last 8 years. He has served as a resource asset to PCSAR as a scuba diver for the last 18 years. He loves all of the outdoor activities that Park County provides, from rodeo, to hunting, to scuba.
Aaron R. Billin (Secretary)
Dr. Aaron Billin completed medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine and residency at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City. He recently retired as an emergency department physician and currently serves as the Park County Health Officer. He is an active member of Park County Search and Rescue with years of experience and serves on the high-angle rope team, water team, membership committee, and medical committee. He is a former president of the Wilderness Medical Society and remains active in teaching and writing in the field of wilderness medicine.
Greg McCue
Dr. Greg McCue was raised in Cody Wyoming, graduating Cody High School in 1971. After attending the University of Wyoming and Creighton University, he returned to Cody in 1982 and practiced family medicine until his retirement in 2021. He has been involved with Park County Search and Rescue since 1982 and continues to serve as a pilot for the unit’s Aviat Husky search plane.
Linda Waggoner
Linda Waggoner has a 38-year background in emergency services including experience as an EMT, Search & Rescue Technician, Wilderness First Responder, K-9 handler and is a Master Trainer in the Incident Command System. Retired from active response, she has spent the past 30 years working in Critical Incident Stress Management. She is the proud mother of 4 and grandmother of 7. Summers are spent with her husband, Kirk living on Lake Yellowstone aboard their cabin cruiser docked at the Bridge Bay Marina.
Ken Lichtendahl (on the right)
Ken Lichtendahl grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati, graduating with a bachelor of science in Industrial Management. Afterwards, he worked in the beverage industry for more than 40 years. Under his leadership the Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewing Co. grew to be the tenth largest brewer in America. In 1996, he and a group of managers split off to brew and market Tradewinds Ice Tea. Ken spent his free time recreating in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem before making his home in Park County in the early 90s. He has served on a number of charitable boards and was a 12-year member of Park County Search and Rescue.
Kelsey Brown (Treasurer)
Kelsey Brown is originally from Powell, Wyoming and grew up horseback riding the trails and rugged mountains of Northwest Wyoming. Kelsey works for a local accounting firm and has also served on several local nonprofit boards. She was previously the organizing volunteer for an annual fundraising event that benefited other local nonprofit organizations in Park County. When she's not working, Kelsey can be found hanging out with her husband and daughter, most likely on horseback.
Trapp Heydenberk
Sgt. Trapp Heydenberk moved to Wyoming in 1994 to pursue many of the outdoor recreational activities northwest Wyoming offers. His Work history began with a variety of positions in tourism, construction, and energy, however the last 25 years has found him in public service with local law enforcement, where he currently serves as a sergeant with the Cody Police Department. Trapp has also served for a time with Park County Search and Rescue, and has a deep appreciation for the service they provide.
Bill Brown (Sheriff’s Liaison/SAR Coordinator)
Deputy Bill Brown was born and raised in Cody where he became interested in search and rescue from his father who served from 1977 to 1988. Bill joined Park County Search and Rescue in 2010 and shortly afterwards, became a member of the swift water and high angle rope team. Bill was hired in 2020 by then Sheriff Scott Steward as Park County Search and Rescue coordinator. Then in 2021, Bill attended the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy and became a deputy for the Park County Sheriff’s Office in addition to his duties as SAR Coordinator. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife and daughter.
Katherine Volmer
Katherine Volmer was born and raised in Cody, Wyoming and returned to Park County in 2003 after graduating from the University of Wyoming. She has spent the past 20 years working in the legal system as a criminal defense investigator. Katherine has an extensive history as a community volunteer and previously served five years on another local nonprofit board in Cody. She loves traveling with her husband and daughter and enjoys growing flowers and gardening.
